Feel free to ask me your high school questions!
I will be a senior this year and I want to share the knowledge I have accumulated from my high school years to help you girls who are just starting or currently in high school avoid my mistakes :p

A little bit about me:
- I'm a senior
- I've been involved in choir and theater all 4 years
- I've taken multiple college courses (in my high school and on a university campus)
- I've had a couple boyfriends (single at the moment)
- I LOVE school dances(;
- My favorite school subject is math
- My favorite pass time is singing
- Guilty Pleasure = Grey's Anatomy(:

Feel free to either comment or PM me your questions. Once I get 5+ questions I will publish them (anonymously) in a set with the answers. I will give you my honest opinion on your question, and if I don't know the answer then I will be straight with you and tell you that I don't know.

Tip: Perfect Mermaid Waves

Tip: Perfect Mermaid Waves
Perfect Mermaid Waves:

This tip will tell you how to get perfect mermaid braids overnight! It works sooo well I do this all the time(:

O1: Get hair wet. Either take a shower or spray hair with a water spray bottle. Hair doesn't need to be damp, it can be pretty wet, both work fine.

O2: Spritz some hairspray into your wet hair or run some non-crunchy gel through it. if your hair is naturally wavy or curly then you don't need very much, but if your hair is naturally stick-straight then you are going to want to use a little bit more.

O3: Divide hair into 2-3 sections. This depends on how wavy you want your hair and how short your hair is. Less sections=less wavy, More sections=more wavy. Shorter hair= more sections, longer hair = less sections(:
[my hair is about 4 inches below my shoulders and 2 sections work perfectly for me.]

O4: Fishtail braid each section. Try to braid down as far as possible while still having room for the elastic to hold. (If you can, use a cloth elastic not a plastic/rubber one, they'll break the ends of your hair and give you split ends).

O5: Now go ahead and sleep on 'em(;

O6: In the morning take out the elastics and gently shake out the braids. You should have some beautiful mermaid waves! if your hair is still slightly damp that's okay, just don't blow dry it, that will ruin your waves.

O7: Spritz some hairspray on your beautiful waves!

O8: If you'd like, go ahead and softly curl the pieces framing your face to get a more polished look. If not just wear it and go!(:

Enjoy your beautiful mermaid waves!
wonderful(:

Tip: Yearbook Day

Tip: Yearbook Day
Yearbook Day:

Most schools have a yearbook day, and if not your school probably just does yearbooks on the very last day of school! This tip is going to tell you how to prepare and make the most out of your yearbook signing experience.(:

1) Find a pen that matches your personality.
I always like to use a fun, bright color because it shows off who I am and it also stands out on the page against all of the other plain, black pen messages. A sharpie is best to use because it is bold and less likely to run out.

2) Think of a few "default" messages to write.
Everyone whose yearbook you are going to sign isn't going to be your best friend and you probably won't have a huge personal memory to share with them so think of a cute, fun message to write in their yearbook... don't write H.A.G.S, that just screams that you don't care.

4) Keep it short.
As much as you'd like to let everyone you know know how much you love them and can't wait to hang out with them this summer, make sure you are being respectful about the space on their pages. Don't write a novel that will take up a whole page of their yearbook. Keep it short and sweet.

5) Don't write huge.
This goes with the previous tip: be respectful of their space.

6) Come up with a mental list of the top 10 people you need to sign your yearbook.
Things get crazy when everyone is set free to sign everyone's yearbook. In the hysteria you may forget to get that cute boy from science class to sign your yearbook or even one of your best friends (trust me I did this once). If you make sure to get all of the important people to you to sign your yearbook you will live with less regret this summer; over what might have been written.

7) Get as many signatures as possible.
When you look back on your yearbook it's always fun to see what people wrote about you. Some of the messages may surprise you! Plus the more filled up your pages are the better the book looks(;

8) Plan a lunch outing after signing yearbooks.
Go on a last fun outing with your friends before summer. Take a couple dollars (or your yearbook refund if your school does that) and head on over to the closest McDonald's or Noodles 'n Company. You'll have a blast talking about your memories over the last year and it will start your summer off with a bang!

Have a fun yearbook day!
